- User/Technical documentation. Variety?
- User :
- interface, how does the user interact with the software?
- what are the key principles surrounding this?
- obvious tools for this would be a keyboard or mouse input,
- what are the important aspects of documentation in trying
to convey a software interface. (this comes down to usability
and general user use)
- are there any distinct principles surronding user usage?
the UI is one,
in trying to teach the user it's expected that the interface
would be the first point of entry (the buttons or widgets,
simply the general interface and how they differ between
different software products. there are a variety of common
symbols used in user interaction - these widgets & interface
controls differ to provide a specific way of interfacing
with the software.
In working with this, it's clear that beyond the fundamentals
of user interaction - each document is going to have a level
of uniqueness. This cannot be easily automated & requires a
large degree of human support. It might be extremely useful
to develop software that can punt out basic concepts from a
given set of user inputs.
